Playing with fire

Today in training we were puting out a fire with a fire extinquisher. It is a required item that we have to be trained on. Here is our pyro teacher. He is the one lighting the fires.

I have just put out the fire. I know it is a tiny fire that you could probably put out with your foot.

Oh I can not forget to mention we had to wear the oxygen mask and smoke gogles from the plane. I could pass for a military pilot wearing that

The teacher is lighting the fire for me

Tim my roomate is taking his turn

What can you say some days training is more interesting than others.

Fuego!!! It is always nice to play with fire. But of course it will have to be extingushed sometime. It is nice to have some experience with using the fire extingushers. Most people don't know how to work one and what to do to get it to work. Good training is nice. The mask and goggles are a nice touch. Not sure if it will ever catch on as a fashion trend though. Maybe you could start it.

Wow. And I thought some of my training was pretty pointless. :) Next week: proper tension on shoe-laces!

While training like that may look horribly geeky and sound hoplessly inane, it sure beats the trousers off of "Office Safety"

So true, Harles! "make sure your chair is set correctly and your computer monitor is at eye level, otherwise, you could fatigue yourself..."
